The Punta Gorda History Center, Inc. is a non-profit, public-benefit organization. The Board of Directors of the History Center serves in the public interest as it relates to the constituent parts of the History Center and considers itself accountable to the public as well as the institution. The Board acts as the ultimate governing authority for the History Center and is responsible for the formulation and maintenance of its general policies, standards, conditions, and procedures.
