The Punta Gorda History Center is a non-profit 501(c)3 non-profit organization created for the purpose of preserving Punta Gorda/Charlotte Harbor History Collections. Archiving history is expensive including continued maintenance of the space, purchase of archival material, human effort in indexing and digitization. Your tax deductible donation will support:
· Continued operation of the Center on Grace Street
· Digitization of the Peeples and other collections and online access to the collections
· Programs and publications providing education on local history
· Preservation materials, equipment and support for archiving local history collections

The Center collects primary and secondary source materials such as letters, writings, artifacts, scrapbooks photographs, ephemera, business and organizational records that have significance to Punta Gorda and the Charlotte Harbor area. For a list of the materials most useful to researchers:
