The Giving Challenge 2018

How you can participate in the Giving Challenge

For any donation given up to $100, the Punta Gorda History Center will receive a 1-1 matching donation from the Patterson Foundation. For example, your gift of $25 (the minimum gift) will become $50.  How to Participate:

  1.           DONATE ONLINE to the Giving Challenge from noon May 1 to noon the 2nd. Donations are individual – and can come from a person or business or organization, but each donation must be on a separate, unique credit card.       Go to the Giving Challenge homepage:  http://www.givingpartnerchallenge.org and search for Punta Gorda History Center.   Or go to our website www.puntagordahistorycenter.com and follow the link.   The Patterson Foundation will provide a 1:1 match for each online donor’s contribution – up to $100 per donor, per organization.
  2.             VISIT US LIVE.   May 1 from noon until 9 p.m. at the Punta Gorda Woman’s Club for Save our History Day or May 2 from 8 a.m. until noon at the Punta GordaHistory Center for our History Trivia BreakfastThere will be food and fun both days.
  3.            ENCOURAGE FRIENDS TO DONATE.  Call or email this information to at least 5 friends.
Remember the Giving Challenge is a community-wide event, and this is a chance for you to support your Charlotte County charities that are participating. We are partnering with the Punta Gorda Historical Society.  So if you give one gift up to $100 to the PGHC, you may want to also give the PGHS a gift of up to $100 so that both organizations receive double the amount you are giving.

If you need any help with your donation, please contact us (941) 916-8800 or (941) 916-3540 and we will help with this.  For more information visit or go to  https://givingpartnerchallenge.org/
